Mark J. Gerdelmann is the founding principal of The Gerdelmann Group. With 15+ years of experience, Mark’s goal is to provide his clients with a level of education that allows them to understand what their personal needs are and help them take an active role in the planning process.

In addition to being the Founder of The Gerdelmann Group, Mark is Senior Vice President of Hoffman Financial Group. Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He has held positions with Travelers Property and Casualty in the Actuarial Department, as well as, in the Banking Supervision, Regulation and Credit Dept of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank. His vast background in all areas of the financial services industry allow him to give his clients a unique perspective into the planning process.

Since the beginning of Mark’s career, the core of his practice has been to develop long-term working relationships with his clientele by designing and implementing sound financial strategies that help his clients to make their financial goals a reality.

In addition to working with his clientele, Mark has taken an active role in educating the community in the area of personal finance. He currently offers financial and retirement seminars throughout the Bucks, Montgomery and Northampton counties.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and rooting for local sports teams in the Philadelphia Area, as well as, his Alma Matter the University of Connecticut Huskies. He currently lives in Chalfont with his wife Christine, their daughter Rachel and their highly energetic Golden Retriever, Carter.
